/why distinktive studio

Different perspectives reveal new possibilities.

I founded distinktive studio as a space where I can combine multidisciplinary thinking with focused investigation to frame and answer complex strategic questions.

Rather than applying a fixed methodology, I shape the research around the question at hand, working closely with clients to uncover what they need to understand before deciding what comes next.

/education

My background spans design, sociology, humanities, architecture and research.
I hold a Doctorate in Architecture and Urbanism from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, a Master’s in Humanities from the Estonian Academy of Arts and a Diploma with Honors in Design from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia.

My academic interest centers on how context shapes human behavior, perception and decision-making across customer, product, spatial and brand research, and how those insights can inform opportunities for products, services and businesses.

Research, applied.

Over nearly a decade, I have designed and led academic and commercial research across sectors including retail and e-commerce, consumer technology, fintech and hospitality, working across physical and digital environments.

Before founding distinktive studio, I worked in customer and market research at a Berlin consultancy, where I designed and led mixed-methods studies for German and international clients including BVG, Apollo, Privathotels Dr. Lohbeck, Segafredo, Skechers and BoConcept.

“I believe the most useful knowledge emerges when different ways of thinking meet. Combining disciplines, methods, human judgment and artificial intelligence can reveal directions that a single perspective might otherwise miss.”

My, and the role of distinktive studio, is to make sense of what is happening and turn that understanding into a direction that can shape successful products, services or brands.
